Stettler Public Library - Learn Something New in 2022

StettlerLocal.com December 30, 2021, contributed by the Stettler Public Library

The end of year is quickly approaching and we are pretty excited at the prospect of starting a new year. As Benjamin Franklin famously said, “For the best return on your money, pour your purse into your head”. Lucky for us we have a public library supported by the Town and County of Stettler, you can pour into your head all year without opening your purse because memberships are free! Drop by and check out all the resources available to you for lifelong learning and entertainment.

From all of us here at the Stettler Public Library (staff team, board and friends), we wish you a very Merry Christmas, and all the best of the holiday season. We will be open regular hours all week until December 31 when we close again at 4 pm. Regular hours resume again on Monday, January 3 at 10 am.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our many friends, volunteers and community supporters for their contributions to the Library throughout 2021. We were pleased to work with local businesses and organizations including: Stettler FCSS, the Stettler Family Resource Network, the Stettler Learning Centre, Stettler Ag Society, Stettler Museum, Stettler Board of Trade, Stettler Information and Referral Centre, StettlerLocal.com, the Jewel Theatre, Alicia Tate Yoga, RWA LLP and others.

We also appreciated those who sponsored prizes for the Summer Reading Club this year including: Gitzel and Company, Heartland Marine, Di’s Consulting, Canadian Tire and others. We also had a great time collaborating with the Stettler Museum, Stettler Recreation Centre, Stettler RCMP, Stettler Golf and Country Club, Dual Dragons Taekwondo (Heartland Auto), Stettler FCSS, Stettler Board of Trade, Stettler County, Stettler Ag Society, Stettler Lacrosse and Stettler Beautification Committee for some fun family events including the Amazing Race. We look forward to doing it again in 2022.
