Leslie and Warren Rowland are celebrating five years as the owners of Home Hardware on Stettler's Main Street.
It certainly hasn't been a dull five years, says Leslie, considering three of those years were dealing with a pandemic and health restrictions.
"We were fortunate to be able to stay open when others had to close," she says.
One of the challenges the Rowlands faced during this time was finding inventory. Like other business owners in Stettler County, Warren spent countless hours sourcing products from different suppliers.
But Leslie says they appreciate their supportive customers, who seem genuinely grateful for the staff's guidance on projects. Home Hardware employs a journeyman electrician, a journeyman plumber, and a journeyman painter.
What is her hope for the next five years?
Leslie immediately references the Home Hardware staff. "We've built a strong team of employees who can, hopefully, stick together through any future challenges."
