Stettler Community Resource Fair enjoyed by guests and organizations

On Friday Apr 29th at the HUB, the Stettler FCSS and Rural Mental Health hosted a Community Resource Fair.

The programs represented were many and varied, including addiction, mental health, business and employment, education, pregnancy, elderly and disability, and violence supports.

After two years of emails and zoom calls, everyone appreciated being able to meet and put a face to the people behind all of these valuable organizations.

Guest Speaker Tim Neubauer of the Canadian Mental Health Association spoke about stress and coping and how we can learn more about this topic is affecting us all.

The event was sponsored by StettlerLocal.com with a Hot Dog Bar for lunch catered by the Jewel Theatre.

StettlerLocal.com owner Wendy Rairdan said she was happy to sponsor the event as it was a rare opportunity to help the helpers who work every day for the people of our community.
