The Stettler Antique Tractor Club began roaring through town at roughly 6pm on June 5th, 2020 at the Stettler Museum as the club’s members prepared to make a procession past the seniors homes and long term care facilities in honour of seniors week.
A total of seven tractors participated in a community spirit building event that saw antique machines of all shapes and sizes, make and model, drive by seniors residences in Stettler.
As a cool breeze began to blow in a forecast weekend weather event, many seniors still braved the chill to observe the tractors and ask questions of the operators. Eventually, the procession moved on, travelling back to the museum.
Smiles and waves could be observed from the seniors as the tractors passed out of view indicating the event as a success.
