Renu-L-Tech is currently looking for Herbicide Applicators for our 2025 Season (April 28-August 31, 2025).
Deadline for applications is April 15, 2025. Early application is recommended as positions may be filled as qualified applicants are received.
Renu-L-Tech Environmental Ltd. is a leading Industrial, Agricultural & Highway Vegetation Management company located in Strathmore, Alberta. All candidates will be reporting to Strathmore, Alberta. Must be open to travelling across Alberta as needed.
Renu-L-Tech Benefits and Perks
Employees can expect to earn between $14,000-20,000.00 in a season.
Daily Living Allowance and Accommodations while working away from home. Hotels will be booked by management for the employee and paid for.
$40/day L.O.A. (food allowance).
Candidates selected will be provided with all necessary P.P.E. (excluding steel-toed boots).
Duties of Position
Operation and maintenance of various types of application equipment. (4 x 4 Trucks, UTV's & Tractors).
Ensuring environmental standards are met and maintained by mixing and applying herbicide to lease sites, roadside, facility sites with specialty equipment.
Maintaining detailed digital records of herbicide application and safety records.
Adhering to company's safety policies and procedures.
Working outdoors across Alberta.
Qualifications
Safety-minded & motivated individuals that work well as a part of a team and independently.
Current tickets an asset but will be provided if needed: H2S, First Aid & Pesticide Applicator (if candidate require courses, Renu-L-Tech will book and pay for required courses).
Training will be expected to be completed before the start date.
Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
Willingness to travel throughout the province of Alberta for extended periods of time (candidates are not expected to relocate).
Good attention to detail, dependable and able to follow directions.
18 + years Old & Valid Class 5 Driver's License (3+ years driving experience and verifiable insurance history) - Drivers Abstract and Verifiable Insurance History required.
Wages are based on meeting qualifications outlined by company and experience level.
