The Stettler and District Handi Bus requires a part-time driver.
The Handi Bus is a local transportation service for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Applicants must have a class 1, 2, or 4 license, driver abstract, and medical and criminal record checks with vulnerable sector check.
Shift rotation is Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, then off for a week rotation. Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays are needed for wheelchair passengers for special trips.
Looking for someone who has experience working with seniors and persons with disabilities, and is courteous and patient.
Drivers are responsible for the following:
Collecting fares and tickets purchased and keeping track of daily stats on the bus.
Complete the vehicle trip inspection sheet each day.
Clean the bus and garage daily.
