FlareTech is seeking an Office Administrator to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in administration, bookkeeping, or a relative role. The position is a full-time position, but flexible as a part-time position for the right candidate.


Duties include a range of administrative and financial tasks:

  • Office operations

  • Accounts Payable

  • Processing expenses, bank deposits, cheque issuance

  • File management including confidential material and information

  • Payroll

  • Reception as and when required

  • Bank, postal, and pick-up runs


Qualities/skills that are an asset include:

  • Previous work in office administration, office management, or relative role.

  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.

  • Experience working with Simply Accounting or other accounting/bookkeeping systems.

  • Experience in processing expenses, bank deposits, cheque issuance.

  • Comfortable with handling phone conversations with supplier AP.

  • Willingness to take on tasks as needed.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

  • Communication, organizational, and time management skills.
