The Junior Wildcat Theatre consists of Grade 8 and 9 Drama Students from Wm. E Hay Stettler Secondary Campus. This weekend they are putting on a production titled “The Perils of Modern Education” by Matthew Webster, which is a comedy focused on navigating modern school days.
The group began their rehearsals for this show in March during regularly scheduled drama classes, and since the beginning of May, have been adding extra after-school rehearsals a couple of times per week.
Director Shonna Burkard says that ticket sales for the upcoming show are going well. Advance tickets are still available at the school office, and also at Well’s furniture. Some tickets will also be available at the door.
The show runs Thursday June 9, Friday June 10 and Saturday June 11 starting at 7pm at the Performing Arts Centre.
