Stettler's Jewel Theatre turns 70 this year.
To celebrate these 70 years of movies and community, the Jewel Theatre is hosting a Red Carpet Gala on Friday, June 30, starting at 7:00 pm.
Tickets are $50 each, and are available at Reel Good Coffee from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Tuesday to Saturday.
The program will include a showing of Calamity Jane (1953), the first movie shown at the Jewel, along with hors d'oeuvres and a short 70th Anniversary film.
