Updated: Sep 24, 2023

Overdose Awareness Day

Purple is the official recovery movement colour. International Overdose Awareness Day (August 31), was established in 2001 to raise awareness of overdose and reduce stigma of drug-related death.

The purple lights in the tress represent overdose awareness. If you would like to sponsor a tree in memory of a loved one, please contact FCSS at 403-742-2337.

Remembering those lost, acknowledging the grief of those left behind, and fighting #EndOverdose every August 31st.
