Garden Journals
Keeping a garden journal is a great way to keep track of your planting experiences. Recording seed varieties, planting locations, harvest times, problems incurred, and workable solutions throughout the growing season for future reference helps you learn how to get the most from your growing season.
Don’t forget to include seed packets and plant tags and amounts of seed planted. In addition, drawings of planting locations will help with help you the following year when deciding where to plant.
Recording ideas and thoughts allows you to improve your garden year after year. Plus reviewing your journal and doing some “mental gardening” through the winter months can be fun and therapeutic!
