Did you know that the Stettler Public Library has resources that you can use to help you find your dream job? Let’s first look at Cypress Resume, a resource that you can use in the Library or the comfort of your own home.

Cypress Resume is perfect for an easy-to-use resume writing tool. You can create a professional-looking resume in minutes with custom cover letters and reference sheets. You are welcome to use the Library’s public computers to access Cypress Resume, or you can use it from home. All you need is a library membership: stop by the Library or call us and register for your free membership today.

The Stettler Public Library also has a wonderful volunteer that can help you spruce up that resume and cover letter or give you tips for a great interview. She has over 30 years of experience working with employment supports and is a great resource here at the Library. Appointments are available on Thursdays from 1 to 3 pm; call the Library for more information or book an appointment.

Is opening your own business your dream? Have you opened your business and want ideas on how to take it to the next level? The Library has a collection of business books to help you in your business life. Whether it be leadership or budgets, the Library can help you find the information you need. Don’t forget that if we don’t have it on the shelves, it doesn’t mean that we can’t get it. The Stettler Public Library is part of the Parkland Regional Library System and can access libraries' collections across Alberta. Turnaround time for this service is usually about a week.
