We hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving!


First, thank you to everyone who came out to the Erskine Drive-In in September. The turnout was good, and everyone enjoyed themselves!


The Erskine Extreme Parents Society will be meeting on October 18 at 3:15 at the school. They will be voting on positions, president, vice president, secretary, etc. If you’re looking to get involved, please attend this meeting. Everyone is welcome!


Don’t forget October 18 is election day! Make your vote count for the municipal elections!

Voting will be at the Erskine IOOF Hall from 10 am to 8 pm for those living in Ward 4: Erskine South-Warden and Ward 6: Erskine-Buffalo Lake. For more details, visit the County of Stettler Website.

The County of Stettler is once again hosting its Photo Contest! All county residents are invited to submit photos. The theme this year is “The Beauty of our 7 Wards”. Attention all Stitchers!! Did you know Erskine has a Knitting Club? The next Knitting meeting will be held on November 4 at the Waverly Club Rooms at 7 pm. All stitchers – knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching – are welcome to attend! For more information, contact Pat at 403-742-0604.


The Erskine Kickoff to Christmas Market will be held at the Erskine IOOF Hall on November 6 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Lots of great vendors, including Dahling Knits and Threads, Simpally Rustic, Tish's Towels, Pink Moon Designs, Sweet Ivy Jae's Closet, Thirty-one Gifts, Norwex, Epicure, Scentsy, MojiLife, Kelly's Closet, Pretty Little Industry Candles, Cloud 9 Naturally, Tupperware, Lucy's Baking, Savannah's Sweets, Usborne Books, Cindy's Jams & Jellies. A great way to get ready for Christmas and support small businesses by shopping local!


The Seniors Center continues to host games for seniors. Cribbage on Wednesdays from 1:30-4:00; Games Night on Thursday at 7 pm; and Canasta on Fridays from 1:30-4:00. If you want more information, you can contact Edith or Gord at 403-742-5207.

Are you getting ready for winter with yard clean-up? Just a reminder, the Erskine Waste Transfer Site is open Wednesdays 1:30 pm-6 pm; Saturdays from 9 am-2 pm; Sundays from 1 pm-6 pm.
