Dig Pig Products is a rapidly growing company in Stettler looking for a talented CNC Machinist to work to create high-end metal products and plastic products.

You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and preparing machines for production. You should be familiar with all types of precision equipment and capable of setting-up and operating a CNC system as part of a machining team. As a tool and die maker, you should be able to design, develop and construct metal-forming dies from sketches or models. This role involves working with mechanical and structural engineers to ensure product quality. Ultimately, the CNC Machinist is responsible for maintaining high standards of efficiency, quality and safety in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex operations on large size or multiple parts using numerical control machine tools, machine tool accessories and hand-held tools.
Set up, operate and program CNC machine tools to perform various operations.
Interpret and apply engineering drawings to determine necessary machining operations and sequence.
Measure critical dimensions of workpieces to ensure parts meet engineering specifications.
Set up and operate manual milling machines, drill presses, lathes, grinders and related hand tools.
Operate machine tool accessories, like lathe chucks, drill presses and grinders.
Maintain accurate records of daily production including set-up time, cycle times and scrap rates.
Update job cost records.
Rate of pay $29-$39/hr, negotiable based on knowledge and experience. Overtime may be available and benefits will be available after 3 months employment.
You must be able to relocate or be able to commute to our location in Stettler. This is NOT a 'work from home' position.
