Summer Village of White Sands

The Summer Village of White Sands is hiring two (2) by-election workers.

  • Must be available during October 12, 2024, a day of training prior to the by-election (TBA).

  • Compensation: Lump sum of $21/hour


RESPONSIBILITIES

Election workers help administer the voting and counting process under the direction of the Substitute Returning Officer (SRO) and the Returning Officer. Some of the duties that an election worker might be required to perform include:

  • Setting up the voting station.

  • Helping voters through the voting process.

  • Counting ballots.

  • Providing information to the public.

  • Taking down the voting station.
